Digital Phone Features

  • Caller ID On TV: Available if you have Bright House Networks Digital Phone and Digital Cable. This feature shows you who is calling right on your TV. Plus, view your last 10 calls as well.

  • Caller ID: If your telephone is Caller ID-ready, the name and number of your caller will be displayed after the first ring. If "P" or "Private" is displayed, the name and number may have been blocked by the caller. If "Unknown Name", "Unknown Number", "Out Of Area" or "O" appears, the call is from an area that doesn't support Caller ID services.

  • Call Waiting: If you are on the phone when another caller is trying to reach you, you'll hear a beep or special tone to notify you that you are receiving another call. You can place your first caller on hold and answer the second call.

  • Call Waiting ID: Combines Caller ID and Call Waiting features. A special tone alerts you to a waiting call and you also receive a visual display of the name and number of the person calling on your Caller ID display.

  • Call Forwarding: Never miss a call. Forward or redirect your phone calls to an alternate phone number while you are away from home. Please note: If calls are forwarded to international numbers, long distance charges will apply. If calls are forwarded to a cell phone, any minutes or charges will be applied against the cell phone's wireless plan.

  • Voice Mail: Never miss a call again. Voice Mail records messages from people who call when you are not available. Spanish voice mail is also available. Print Quick Start Guide Available at an additional cost per month.

  • Accessing Voice Mail: Access voice mail from your home phone by simply dialing *98. Retrieve messages away from home by calling your home phone and dialing *5 when voice mail answers. Check your voice mail on the Internet with Digital Phone Online Tools.
